Compatibility of iBGStar ® Diabetes Manager Application v. 2.2 with iOS7

Sanofi is pleased to announce the release of the updated iBGStar ® DMA v. 2.2 that is compatible with Apple’s new operating system iOS7 and supported iDevices up to the fifth generation. iBGStar ® DMA v. 2.2 is available for download on local AppStores from 21 October 2013. Users are advised to back up their data on iTunes before performing the upgrade.

iBGStar DMA 2.2 has not been tested on the iPhone 5c/5s yet, and Sanofi is looking into providing an additional update of the iBGStar® DMA that will allow the compatibility and safe use of the iBGStar ® DMA on the iPhone 5c/5s. Sanofi advises all users with an iPhone 5c/5s to wait until the updated DMA is available, currently anticipated for late November 2013 .

The iBGStar ® DMA version 2.2 can be used with iPhone 3GS/4/4S/5 and iPod touch 3/4/5. For users of older generation iDevices, a full overview of iBGStar ® DMA compatibility can be found on http://www.bgstar.com/web/ibgstar/app .

If it is not possible to download or upgrade to DMA 2.2 with an iDevice, the AppStore will automatically offer to download DMA version 2.1.1.
