Launch of MyStar Connect ® at EASD 2014

New software to support healthcare professionals in clinical decision-making

At the 50th annual meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) we introduced MyStar Connect ® , an easy-to-use, comprehensive diabetes data management software platform for healthcare professionals (HCPs).

MyStar Connect ®

  • Is designed with the aim to simplify the way HCPs access and review their patients’ blood glucose data
  • Provides clear and simple graphical visualisation of patient data downloaded from BGStar ® and MyStar Extra ® meters
  • Helps HCPs to optimize clinical decisions by highlighting the areas that need attention

For successful diabetes management, it’s essential for patients to regularly attend health check-ups and consult with their HCPs on their blood glucose control. During these consultations, HCPs need to review blood glucose data in order to optimise the therapy of each individual patient. However, they often lack time and adequate software to access, download and analyse the data from various sources, such as blood glucose monitoring devices. MyStar Connect® streamlines the access to blood glucose data and helps deliver the insight required to optimize HCPs clinical decision-making and to supply individualized clinical solutions.

MyStar Connect ® will be available in selected European countries at the beginning of 2015.
