How do I charge the MyStar Plus?

How do I pair my MyStar Plus with my mobile device for the first time?

  • To pair the MyStar Plus meter with their mobile device, users need to download and install the MyStar Plus App from the Apple Store or Google Play Store, install on their mobile device and follow the step-by-step instructions:
    • In the app, users first need to navigate to the menu and select “Meters”, then “Add a new meter.”
    • On the meter, users will then need to press and hold the meter button and then tap on the meter’s serial number when it appears in the app.
    • A six-digit passkey will appear on the meter which the user will need to type into the app.
    • Both the meter and the app will indicate on their screens that pairing was successful.
    • After pairing is completed, data stored on the MyStar Plus meter can be transferred automatically to the MyStar Plus App.
  • For users who have already paired their MyStar Plus with their mobile device the sync process starts automatically if:
    • The Bluetooth wireless technology on the mobile device is switched on.
    • MyStar Plus is switched on.
    • MyStar Plus and the mobile device are both within 10 meters of each other.

Can I use the MyStar Plus App with multiple meters?

  • Yes. With the MyStar Plus App users can connect their mobile device with multiple meters from the MyStar portfolio, allowing them more flexibility in their daily diabetes management.
